Giving for Salvation of Israel - Foundational or Optional?

Shalom, Shalom, Dear Friends and Mishpocha!

Is the salvation of Israel relevant to your spiritual life? Without a doubt it is at the top of the list of the desire of Abba's heart! (Rom. 11:15; Isa. 46:13) I humbly suggest that it should be at the top of our list, too!

The salvation of Israel is key to the return of Yeshua ha Mashiach to this planet and the words of His people Israel are the words He longs to hear "Blessed is He Who comes in the Name of the Lord.." (Matt. 23:39).

Having grown up in the traditional, mainline church, then spending many years in Pentecostal/charismatic churches, and then many more years in evangelical churches, I can tell you that not one of them held the salvation of Israel as a foundational belief or even a relevant or significant belief for the life of a believer.

Occasionally, there might rarely be a "special service" where a missionary person would be allowed to speak about Israel, but other than that, the topic of Israel and the salvation of Israel remained (and remains) a "fringe" topic and mostly was considered a "special interest" type ministry, certainly not foundational to the faith or worthy of on-going support - most of these churches didn't (and still don't) even have an outreach to Israel within their Missions Departments, much less considering the salvation of Israel and God's covenant with Israel as foundational to church doctrine!

In fact, all of them, without exception, were convinced that if you attended their church, then this church where you attended was the "storehouse" for you and your giving, and it was the place where you were to give your full 10% tithe unto the Lord. If you happened to have anything left over, you could give "offerings" into other "optional ministries", which conceivably could include giving for the salvation of Israel.

Giving for the salvation of Israel, with very few exceptions, was not even represented in the budget at all within these churches.

And these were wonderful places of worship, but they were (and mostly still are) without a clue about the foundational importance of God's covenant with Israel to faith in our Messiah Yeshua! The Scripture speaks of the veil over the eyes of the Jews who cannot see their Messiah Yeshua, but it is as if there is also a veil over the eyes of these "Gentiles" where they cannot see God's heart for the salvation of Israel and the glory of Zion!

Friends, Israel is not a fringe topic to the one true God, the God of Israel! He is zealous over Zion (Zech. 8:2-3). His glory will rise over Zion and His splendor will be seen in her (Isa. 60:1-3; Ps. 102:16)! Zion is His dwelling-place - it is your dwelling-place!! The salvation of the Jewish people matters to God (Ezek. 37:24-28)!

Having said all of that.....I pray that it is not offensive to you, but that you are nodding your head

and spirit in agreement that this is the truth!

We have not stood with Zion, with the Jewish people. For the most

part, the "church" has placed no special importance at all on the people

the Lord chose as His inheritance and

from whom He Himself chose to be born!

It is not too late to bless the one true God, the God of Israel, by blessing Israel,

His beloved! It is through

Israel that all of us, the nations, the Gentiles, will be blessed! (Gen. 12:1-3)

I say with passion that if giving for Zion's sake is not part of your faith-life, please pray and

ask the Lord to speak to you on this subject. If you are in a church where giving for Israel

is not in the "budget", let Him speak to your heart and begin now to

give personally for this purpose outside of your regular place of worship - if

your church is not giving part of your tithe for Zion's sake, then

you must take care of it yourself.

The Salvation of Israel really matters!

It is time to favor Zion (Ps. 102:13-16). It is time for believers in Jesus, the Messiah, to favor Zion! This is the beginning of our tenth year of ministry as Highway to Zion Ministries and during this time, we have invested our hearts into the ministry of the restoration of Israel and the soon-coming restoration for all things when Yeshua ha Mashiach returns.

We are so blessed by the Lord to have friends in the Land who are serving in this end-time ministry for the salvation of Israel. We are serving with them and so are you if you are giving of your blessings and gifts, spiritually and physically. We praise Him for allowing us all to be part of building up Zion.

For this upcoming calendar year, we are hearing that we are to press in for the salvation of Israel. We pray that you will join us. We pray that this coming year is the year that we all throw off whatever hinders us and run with all our hearts (Heb. 12:1) toward the goal of our high calling (Php.3:14) and that we will be tireless in our efforts until Zion's righteousness shines out like the dawn (Isa. 62:1).

Would you please consider giving a gift through Highway to Zion Ministries for the salvation of Israel or better still, would you consider giving regularly for Zion's sake? We have ministry partners we want to bless. Whatever you send will go to them. We support several ministries who bear much fruit for the salvation of Israel, but for purposes of our December giving emphasis, we would like you to join us in blessing these three specific ministries:

Dugit Outreach Center - www.dugit.org

Israel Media Ministries -www.israelmediaministries.org

Heart of G-d Ministries - www.heartofgo-d.org

The founders of these ministries are dear friends of ours. We labor with them for Zion's sake. We are building relationships with our mishpocha. Would you be part of this blessing? And if you go with us when we travel to Israel, you will meet them yourself!
